Dr. Shunda Carr, PsyD, LPC, NCC, ACS, MAC, SAP

Dr. Carr is a native of Georgia and holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) and professional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the States of Georgia, Texas, and New Mexico.  Dr. Carr is also recognized as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She has certifications as a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP).  

 

Dr. Carr has experience in outpatient and residential services with Addictive Diseases, Adult Mental Health, as well as Crisis Management where she supervised a crisis team located at a state psychiatric hospital for over 3 years. For over a decade, Dr. Carr provided direct service and support to military service members and their families locally and abroad.  She has also worked with athletes from recreational to professional leagues to address behavioral health and performance issues.

Dr. Carr has been trained in numerous evidenced based practices/ programs including, CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, MET, MI, Botvin Life Skills, TREM, Matrix Model, QPR Suicide Prevention, PREPARE/ ENRICH, and more.
